About Me
LMS works on as many as 70 different projects at any given time, installing its own steel for the most part but in some cases serving strictly as a trusted supplier. In 2007 alone it used almost 80,000 tons of steel on a wide range of projects, including some of Vancouver’s highest-profile new developments: the Fairmont Hotel, the Vancouver Convention Centre and the Shangri-La commercial/residential facility, the latter being Vancouver’s tallest building at 62 stories. For that project, a 50-person LMS crew installed rebar and participated in the single-biggest concrete pour ever performed in a single day in B.C.
